The Oil and Gas sector is a dynamic sector in which versatility is a necessary ingredient. That is why Total finds it important to train Oil and Gas Installation Engineers. The  Oil & Gas Installation Engineer provides an access point to a wide range of very different but complementary professions: Process, Exploitation (Production, Maintenance & Inspection, Well Performance) or Project Engineer for example and covering a variety of technical fields, from bringing in a typical gusher to operating deep-water offshore wells, heavy oil processing installations or LNG production. Therefore a junior engineer follows a course, generally in three phases, designed to make him or her multi skilled in these “surface” occupations within a few years.

The aim of the course is to train new generalist engineers.
